Westside Baptist Church

Services/Home Groups/Monthly Ladies’ Study

Sunday Services

We meet on Sunday mornings at 11am and most Sunday evenings at 7pm.

Our Sunday morning service includes a time of singing, prayer, a talk for the children,

teaching from the Bible and a time around the Lord’s Table.

At present we are looking at the book of Ecclesiastes in a series entitled “Life is a vapour: learning to live well in a world that is fleeting.”

During the Bible teaching and Lord’s Table there is a crèche for pre-school children and Junior Church for primary school age children where they too can be taught God’s Word.

We regularly have a shorter service which is followed by coffee.

This gives an opportunity to chat and allows for time to get to know others better.

Every second month we have a Family Service.

We meet most Sunday evenings at 7pm.

These sometimes have a special focus or missionary emphasis.

Check out the events page to find out what is happening.

Home Groups

Home groups meet on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 8pm in two different homes.

The evening consists of a Bible study and prayer time, followed by a time of fellowship over supper.

This year we are following up on the passage from the previous Sunday morning’s sermon.

Monthly Ladies’ Study

There is a Ladies’ study once a month on a Thursday morning, meeting for coffee at 10.30am.

Followed by a Bible study, visiting speaker or missionary report.

There are also monthly coffee outings! (Thursday mornings)
