First lecture: understanding God’s self-portrait
What motivates God? Why would anyone study theology?
How should I respond to God? How can I possibly understand who God is?
Why should I still read the OT?
Second lecture:difficult aspects of God’s self-portrait
How can I reconcile God’s character and the Canaanite genocide?
Doesn’t the God of the OT seem very different from Jesus?
How should we understand the treatment of women in the OT?
Why should I study the OT, isn’t it all law and the NT all about grace?

He also serves as adjunct Old Testament faculty at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky.
